The Anti-Christmas Playlist
I made my anti-Christmas playlist because, as Sabrina Carpenter said in ‘Is it New Years Yet?’, ‘the songs are catchy, but they’re overplayed’. I was so fed up of the ‘traditional’ Christmas songs and I’d heard them so much over the years, they were starting to get on my nerves. First of all, I realised that Waterparks had several songs that had nothing to do with Christmas but contained the word ‘Christmas’ once, so I put them all in a playlist together and added other songs that also only mentioned Christmas once, such as ‘Wintering’ by The 1975 and then added Christmas parodies by some of my favourite artists including Jaden Hossler and Blink-182 as they were released, and then it became the playlist it is now.
