Royal Hearts & Spider Inside Her Will Not Be "Mistaken"

Royal Hearts is back with their fourth single of the year, this time featuring Spider Inside Her’s Kara Murray and continuing to prove that they are worth paying attention to. From the intro riff in the first few seconds, it’s clear you are in for something special, and it just keeps coming. As described by Royal Hearts’ vocalist, Ryan Camuto, “The song is really about breaking out of the most toxic of relationships. Understanding that no one deserves that horrid sort of treatment. Kara really nailed that vitriol and anger I was trying to express with the lyrics and really added a rawness that made the song seem more real to me when I first heard her vocal takes.”

With that in mind, the way the lyrics are combined with the two vocalists on this track helped the concept shine. I was personally a really big fan of this single with its emotive, layered vocals, catchy riffs, and the way all of these different elements came together. This single is yet another banger in Royal Hearts’ small but impressive catalog of self-published work as they continue to shine.
