Northlane Share "Afterimage" Video
Australian metalcore band Northlane has released a new single from their highly anticipated EP 'Mirror's Edge'.
Having debuted the new song 'Afterimage' live during their huge Australian tour, the band have finally released it into the digital realm, revealing a guest appearance from Karnivool vocalist lan Kenny.

According to guitarist Jon Deiley, Karnivool themselves have always been considered a huge inspiration to the band and helped shape Northlane into the band we know today.
If you're a fan of Northlane you know what to expect.
Swirling synthesisers are layered with Northlane's signature electronic crunching guitar tones and deep droning bass, whilst the drums lay down a beat that drives the song.
lan Kenny's vocal appearance could almost be missed on this song; fitting perfectly within the reflective chaos in a way that would not be out of place amongst Northlane's other work.
Lyrically, this song is about reflecting on the past whilst looking towards a better future; a theme which is a staple to 'Mirror's Edge'.
'Afterimage' takes some of the best elements from 2022's album 'Obsidian' and mixes them together to create a fantastic piece of music; a real treat for fans.
'Afterimage,' the third and final preview from 'Mirror's Edge,' is out now. The new EP itself releases on the 12th April.
