Kublai Khan TX Drop New Single "Low Tech"

Kublai Khan TX have treated us with an aggressive, stand alone track ‘Low Tech’. Following their 2023 single ‘Theory of Mind’ they bring a classic hardcore sound. The song hits instantly, packed full of energy and does not stop across a rage filled two minutes. 

A driving bass drum serves as a strong opening introducing low, heavy vocals setting the scene for what’s to come.  ‘Low Tech’ is immediately bass heavy. The decision to include down tuned riffs adds a powerful turbulent element. 

Drum breakdowns are scattered throughout. The only slight pause from the raging vocals comes from an intricate, groovy drum fill a brief moment before Kublai Khan continue with their hardcore style. All elements combine into a raw and gritty sound, fueled by mighty screaming vocals. 

This rage translates into the music video with fast movements, a quick succession of shots and the lighting certainly can’t go unnoticed. A clever play on the lyrics ‘hit the switch’ changes from glowing night vision and a predatorily looking thermal camera magnifies the storming nature of ‘Low Tech’.
