Hardrock "My Gift To You Tour" At Summit Moon Room
The energy of Hardrock’s live performance and opener, 1kcxxpe, at Summit Moon Room on April 16th was amazing. During 1kcxxpe's performance, local talent was on display at it's best. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed his live set and I enjoyed seeing local talent be the opening act for an artist such as Hardrock. It was great to see how well the crowd received him with positive energy, and jumping along to his set. One highlight I have of his set was when he first came out and he and his DJ were interacting with the crowd by playing songs that everyone knew, while it transitioned into his own music. The visual aspects were on point for the opener. I feel like it really fit his type of music and aesthetic, which made it great for the fans.
Then it was time to transition into Hardrock’s set. His stage presence was great and the crowd was really involved throughout his whole set. There were also people moshing and singing along as he performed his songs. There wasn't a song or time when the crowd weren't getting involved, during his performance. One key moment about Hardrock's performance was when he played his song "1of1" everyone started jumping, moshing, and singing, while the same thing happened when “bleh” started playing. Overall, it was a good show. I enjoyed seeing the fans dance, scream his lyrics, and just enjoy themselves. I would recommend it to someone who is a Hardrock fan or just someone who likes that type of music in general, due to the fact that he’s a good up-and-coming artist with various hits that people really enjoy listening to, including myself.
