Four Year Strong Releases New Video for Single Rollercoaster
Four Year Strong have already started their EU and UK tour, and the band has treated us all to a fun animated music video for their latest single ‘rollercoaster’ taken from their latest album ‘Analysis Paralysis’.
Forming in Massachusetts back in 2001, pop punk band Four Year Strong have truly made a name for themselves amongst the pop punk scene. Leaning further into the punk side of the genre, the band are best known for their big riffs, dual vocals, huge choruses, and constant evolution of sound through out the duration of their career. Whether you’ve been following the band for many years or a new fan, you wont be disappointed with Rollercoaster.
Coming in slow with a quiet riff, it's not long before the song drops into the usual big riffs we’ve all come to know and love from Four Year Strong. Much like a rollercoaster, it's a fast, energetic joyride of a song which keeps its momentum through out and when it does slow, it doesn’t take long for speed to pick back up. Packed with chunky riffs and a huge singalong chorus, rounded off with a booming breakdown, this song's bound to sound huge live. The video itself is also fun, featuring a cartoon version of the band rocking out and riding a rollercoaster. The animations style is reminiscent of Beavis And Butt-Head and hey, it may even be a tribute to the much loved punk cartoon. Be sure to check it out below:
