Chrissy Costanza Releases Debut Solo Single and Announces North American & European Tour

Chrissy Costanza, Lead singer of Against The Current, has released her first solo track ‘7 Minutes In Hell’. This single is a pop-rock tune featuring Voilà, their voices work together perfectly on this song, combined with upbeat drums and heavy guitar riffs. This track explores different perspectives through the story line of a dark romance, where one person’s heaven can also be another person’s hell, with a super catchy sound. This song also confronts the 2 sides of many different aspects of life including the conflict between your true self and the idealised expectations of others, the fear of being placed on a pedestal and deviating from other’s expectations, the fine line between heaven and hell, right and wrong and coming to terms with embracing one’s darker side. The title stems from a play on words of the game ‘7 minutes in Heaven’. This is a very strong first debut single, allowing Chrissy Costanza to showcase a vision that is solely hers as opposed to her previous work with Against The Current. 

It is set in a world of angels and demons, exploring her awakening after falling from grace and realising that their version of hell, might actually be her freedom. Having previously worked with the duo Voilà, they knew exactly how to use their unique sounds together to create magic as demonstrated on this track, by combining elevated sonics, roaring vocals and magnetic lyricism, they were able to create this insane sound. 

The accompanying music video is a masterpiece featuring both Chrissy Costanza and Luke Eisner of Voilà, showcasing the dark romance portrayed throughout 7 Minutes In Hell.
