BAS in Colorado
Going into this show, I wasn't sure what to expect because Bas is someone I am not as familiar with compared to other artists. However, I have seen that some of the artists I enjoy listening to, for example, J Cole, who is part of the Dreamville group of talented artists, so I knew that he was going to put on a good show for his fans. The atmosphere that the opening artists such as HOOSH, RUEBEN VINCENT, and BLXCKIE created was amazing. They knew how to get the ambiance going and interact with the crowd while also having them sing along to their songs. One of the highlights for me was when Reuben Vincent had the crowd jumping and singing along to his song "FUFU." Their setlist was also very similar to each other, where they had songs to get the crowd jumping and songs where they were also able to sing along. The venue also provided good audio sound, and the lighting was on point for each of the opening artists and the main artist, which made the show more enjoyable and created a good ambiance for the fans and photographers. Overall, it was a great show to attend, even if you didn't know the artists performing, because they knew how to get the crowd involved and were great performers in general. These artists really stood out to me because it was my first show with that type of music, and I was impressed by how many people enjoy listening to these types of artists and how supportive the crowd was towards them and their performances. I totally recommend this show to those who are in doubt about attending a Bas show; they will not regret it and will enjoy their time there. It was also fun meeting new people and connecting with photographers after the show to see how their experience was.
