Artist Spotlight- Reflect//Refine

With a new banger, Effigy, coming out tomorrow (10/31) we’re thrilled to have Reflect//Refine as our Artist Spotlight. With a single coming out and an EP in the works, they have a lot of upcoming projects to look forward to. With a long history as a band, some may know them as Jynzo, going all the way back to 2014. Renamed as Reflect//Refine in 2017, they’re a staple in the North Carolina and South Carolina metal scene. I recently saw them at The Milestone in Charlotte, NC and where there was an audience before, a pit opened up without hesitation. While they played their allotted three songs, covering Limp Bizkit for a Halloween fest, the crowd kept them on stage and even had them encore their last song (which I was able to get a recording of). Personally, of all the bands I’ve seen, Reflect//Refine is the only band to date that has made me quite literally freeze in awe of how good they sound. It’s always a pleasure to see people enjoy their music and come up to them after a show equally as awed as I constantly am.
