A Magical Evening With Griff At The Roundhouse, London
The last night of Griff’s Headline UK/EU tour started in the iconic Roundhouse in London. CXLOE graced the stage, wearing the most amazing dress and full of confidence. She kicked off her set with “Devil You Don’t” before leading into fan favourites “Cheating On Myself” and “Chloe Enough!”. She also previewed yet to be released songs “Shiny New Thing” and “Shapeshifter.”
Griff then took to the stage and danced around ripping down the sheets covering her backdrops that she had painted herself, before climbing a ladder with a spray paint can in hand to add the Final tour stop to the list of show locations.
Griff had the most amazing stage presence, she was even joined by back-up dancers for “Head On Fire” and “Miss Me Too” where she performed the high energy choreography with them. This was definitely a highlight of the evening!
Throughout the concert, we were blessed by Griff’s powerful voice and multi-instrumentalist talent while she talked us through how she produced some of her songs while showing off her guitar and keyboard skills. She also gave us little backstories of the songs throughout the night, really helping to connect with fans.
She then made an appearance among the crowd, where she performed acoustic versions of “Blank Space” by Taylor Swift, “Earl Grey Tea” and “So Fast” accompanied by her guitar, at the centre of the Roundhouse. The night ended with a magical rendition of “Astronaut” as white confetti slowly fell from the ceiling surrounding the singer.
