2025 Festival Previews
It may only be the start of the year but what better way to shake off the January blues than to take a look at some of the amazing festival line ups summer has in store for this year!
Slam Dunk 2025
Starting off the list is a festival we spoke about last year, that festival is Slam Dunk! With some huge names like A day to remember, Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory, Neck Deep, Electric Callboy and Stray From The Path already on the line up the addition of the likes of Imminence, Landmvrks, Winona Fighter, Free Throw, Heart Attack Man and Wargasm amongst many other amazing bands means that this year is going to be a big one!
2000 Trees 2025
In 2024 we got down to the festival and had an incredible weekend, so anticipation for the 2025 line up was mounting. Near the end of last year that line up was announced and it is already set to be another crazy weekend. With Kneecap, PVRIS, Taking Back Sunday, Coheed and Cambria plus Alexisonfire being set to headline the festival, it feels the festival may be on track to be the most exciting U.K. line up of the year! Also announced were Imminence, La Dispute, Stick To Your Guns, and a return for the mighty Million Dead. 2000 Trees is always a master at introducing the next wave of big stars including Heriot, Lake Malice, Røry, Bambie Thug and Bruise Control. It’s safe to say you won’t want to miss this!
Download 2025
Download festival is notorious for being one of the best metal festivals in the U.K. and this year will be no different. This year the organisers decided that they’d take a different approach with the headliners, revealing Green Day, nu metal legends Korn and rising stars Sleep Token with a whole host of amazing bands such as Weezer, The Darkness, Bullet For My Valentine, Northlane, Nothing More, Spiritbox, Don Broco and Within Temptation amongst many others. If Sleep Token's arena tour at the end of 2024 is anything to go by then festival goers are in for a real treat this year.
Reading & Leeds 2025
Reading and Leeds is best known for always having a truly diverse line up of all the most popular bands at the time and 2025 will be no different. Following a hugely successful year for Chappell Roan, it’s exciting to see that they have been given a headline slot alongside Hozier, Travis Scott and Bring Me The Horizon. This will also be Bring Me The Horizon’s only U.K. headline date for the year so you can expect some surprises alongside a huge set.
Also on the line up is The Kooks, Becky Hill, Wallows, The Chats, Wunderhorse, Enter Shikari, Amyl and the Sniffers plus a special set from the iconic Bloc Party.
Welcome To Rockville 2025
This year Rockville has outdone itself once again, crafting a line up with some of the biggest names in the rock, punk and metal scene from the last decade. Main Stage headliners include Shinedown, Green Day, Linkin Park and Korn also joined across multiple stages by the likes of Incubus, Underoath, Dayseeker, Good Charlotte, Knocked Loose, Mastadon, Chevelle, Rob Zombie and many more. It’s set to be a huge year for the festival.
Vans Warped Tour 2025
Growing up in the U.K. meant I never got to experience warped tour, but it didn’t stop me from hearing all about it. The touring festival which defined a generation is finally back. Although the line up is still yet to be announced, the dates have been set for Washington D.C, Long Beach and Orlando. This year's festival celebrates the 30th anniversary of the festival so expect some exciting new bands amongst a whole host of returning bands.
When We Were Young 2025
After a huge year in 2024, showcasing a full line up of bands playing their greatest albums in full. When We Were Young is back! Main headliners this year are Blink-182 and a return from the mighty Panic! At the Disco who are set to play their debut album ‘A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out’ in full! Blink-182 will also be playing 'Enema of The State', 'Take off your pants and Jacket' plus their self-titled album in full. If this wasn’t enough, the bands are joined by a crazy line up including Weezer, The Used, Kublai Khan, Ice Nine Kills, Bad Religion, The Offspring and the pop punk princess herself, Avril Lavigne. A return from Panic! At The Disco is enough to make this a festival not worth missing.
